mercator fasta upload problem

Hi, trying to upload a nucleotide fasta file in mercator, but receive the error messgae:

: FATAL ERROR: The input contains both nucleotide and protein sequences. Please make sure the input only contains data of either type. Number of sequence types found in input: Protein : null Nucleotide: 1424.

The fasta file uploaded does not contain any protein/amino acids, and have tried to remove any characters that may give rise to the error, without success. Anyone experienced this and have an idea of how to resolve?
