hormones

Hi Mapman developpers,
I am working on maize genomics and transcriptomics. I am starting to use mapman and find it very interesting and useful.
However I do see interesting results concerning hormones biosynthesis and/or hormone signaling in my dataset but I cannot find a nice way to see these results in mapman; in addition, I am more particularly interested in the cytokinins biosynthesis and signaling in the context of my research and this hormone pathway in totally missing from mapman.
I think it would be great for the community to add (at least a draft of) the known enzymes involved in cytokinins biosynthesis.

Best,
Marie

Dear Marie,

thanks for your interest in MapMan. You are right - the list of pathway visualizations for MapMan
that are available for download is not exhaustive yet and individually interesting ones might be missing.

Fortunately, MapMan makes it very easy for you to create custom pathways yourself! This can be done
directly within the MapMan application. The procedure is explained step-by-step from page 60 onward in
"The Ultimate MapMan Install and Usage Guide" available here: http://mapman.gabipd.org/web/guest/mapman

In case you want to share your custom-made pathway with the community we are more than happy and
invite you to contact us so that we can make your pathway available via the MapMan store (http://mapman.gabipd.org/web/guest/mapmanstore)

best greetings,
Marc
