I am trying to use MapMan to visualize my microarray tobacco data. Currently the available mapping file for tobacco MapMan store is in Agilent platform. My tobacco microarray data was generated from custom NimbleGen platform. Can you advise me on how to proceed or are you planning to release a mapping file of tobacco in NimbleGen platform? Thank you.

Best wishes,

Roel

Dear Roel,

we can generate mapping files for custom platforms upon request. Since
custom microarrays are usually designed using custom (e.g. non-public)
sets of target sequences, we would need these sequences as FASTA
files to be able to create a mapping for them. So if you send me these
sequences by mail or grant me access to some (e.g. SFTP) server from
which i can download them, I am happy to start a mapping job for you.

Marc
