Hi all,

I know there is a previous thread with mac installation problems, I tried all these solutions and I still cannot get mapman to install.

I get this error:-
Error installing !:
Error checking for update:java.net.ConnectException:
Operation timed out

OSX 10.4.9
Java version 1.5.0_07

I am assuming this is a firewall problem. How can I carry on with the install and then manually add pathways?

Dear Alex,

we are still working on the firewall issue. Currently you would need to install a file named .ImageAnnotator.xml which I will send you as email to document that installation has finished and dowload the pathways and mappings manual.
