Hello everybody,

this is just a gerenal comment for Mac users: Mac OS X contains several Java VM versions - and usually 1.5 is set as the system-wide default. MapMan v3 was designed to run with java 1.6 - so you might want to switch the java version that is used. Fortunately, apple provides an application that makes it easy to do so. It's called Java Preferences and is located in /Applications/Utilities. Just change the order of VMs used via drag and drop and be sure to place your favorite VM at the top.
