installation path?

Hi,

Something quite handy, which would improve the usability of the Mapman software would be to be able from inside Mapman to see where it was installed in the first place. This would allow users to see and interact with example files of mappings, datasets and pathways. Although such a manual step performed outside of the user interface is not necessarily wished by the programmer, it is often a necessary step for the user to get his own data-type specific identifiers (e.g. protein identifiers) and corresponding mappings to Mapman BINs displayed on the Mapman user-interface.

Concretely the user usually does not document the installation path of software explicitly. Although the path can be found under $HOME/.ImageAnnotator.xml, the name and location of this file are not intuitive. It would be therefore good for instance to be able to right-click on the root of tree displayed on the left panel to get its mapping on the filesystem.

Cheers,

Alex
