Using MapMan

Request mapping of Tomato gene ID annotated from genome

Hi,

I would like to do mapping using new tomato annotation from genome for analyzing tomato mRNAseq result.
The annotation file is too big for using Mercator on the Web.

Can I please get a help to do mapping gene ID annotated?

Thanks,

Soon-ju

Hi Soon-ju,

and thanks for your interest in using MapMan. Could you please let me know exactly which annotation
you are talking about (and maybe provide a link to the publicly available file)?

Thanks,
Marc

Hi Marc,

I am sorry for late reply.
The link of tomato annotation is here.
http://solgenomics.net/itag/release/2/list_files
I think ITAG2_cds or cdna will be best one for mapping.
Those are recently released.

This file size is too big to do mapping on the web.
Please let me know it could get a help from you.

Is there any special tool or way by using for analizing mRNA seq data?

Thanks a lot,

Soon-ju

Dear Soon-Ju

we will probably still have to wait until the embargo is lifted. (i.e. the genome paper is published)

I might check this with Joyce though.

Best Wishes,
Björn
