unable to read configuration

Hi

When I want to restart Mapman an error message appear :
unable to read configuration ... error on line 4 on file :.ImageAnnotator.xml
The only way to restart is to supresse this file and to restart again

What could I do ?

This might happen due to the use of an extended character set like special French accents or other German "Umlaute" or others.

I will convert the .ImageAnnotator.xml character format to utf16 instead of utf8 which will as result cope with more special characters.

As interim solution try avoid all special characters in file and path names.

We will have a new release soon with an extended data loading for files containing multiple data columns and diverse headers. I will incorporate the fixes there.

Sorry for beraking my word.
We have decided not to change the format of the .ImageAnnotator.xml in favour of beeing able to have a look inside.
This would become a problem if we would use utf16 character encoding.
So please keep your path and file names clean of excotic characters, that might avoid trouble with other software as well.
