Hi

sorry can you specifiy what you are using?
The MapMan mapping files are redundancy reduced but for biological reasons not entirely redundancy free. For example in Amino acid metabolism there are several enzymes which have more than one enzymatic function and role. In some cases one can annotate them as binfucntional in some other cases this is not possible.

But I am unsure whether this is what you were looking for. So maybe give an example.
