I'm using Mercator and when I press "start" this error message appears.

Error: Sequence Check failed: Error parsing fasta description (line 1): 'PK! $��[Content_Types].xml �(��MO�@��&��W�z0Ɣ��M��.C��~dg��JK��Z��2��3��J��<*kR�Oz,#m��,e��E��Di'

I'm using fasta file (protein sequence), and not check "IS _DNA".

I have just 9 sequence like that:

Hi, can you give me the job number and I will take a look on the server side. We are currently experiences a temporary overload of the cluster so this may be causing the problem. Just to be sure I will take a look and try to re-run it manually. regards, Marie.

It seems that Mercator believes that there is something fundamenatally wrong with your fasta files. can you send the file to m.bolger@fz-juelich.de along with the parameters you would like to set.

Hi, Saving fasta files in Microsoft Word format is not a good idea as there are hidden characters that present problems for fasta parsers. Instead use a basic text editor.
