In a number of research articles, I have seen figures showing functional category enrichment among clusters (k-means clusters) using modified Mapman bins. What are modified Mapman bins? How different are they from regular Mapman bins? How can they be generated?

Although clustering can be performed using Mapman or other software, what about the figure showing functional category enrichment among clusters? Is this made using Mapman or some other programs?
